| Abstract | SEES-1 is a Certified Reference Material (CRM) of selenium-82 labelled selenomethionine in solution. A unit of SEES-1 consists of an approximately 2 mL aliquot of selenomethionine solution in 0.1 M HCl. This material is intended for the calibration of instruments and evaluation of analysis methods for the determination of selenomethionine. The isotopic composition of selenium in this material is estimated as n(82SeMet)/n(SeMet) = n(82Se)/n(Se) = 0.997 mol/mol. |
